Shoal was born out of my desire to inspire people to create. Would it be fair to say that anyone can draw a fish?... yes! How about two fish? How about two hundred? At what point does creating become more endurance than talent? This is what I wanted to bring to life in this watercolor–turned into a jigsaw.
This illustration was painted by me, Adam Parsons in 2021. It took six months to create and went on to become a jigsaw puzzle with the largest jigsaw company in the world, Ravensburger, as well as a poster and coloring book. Shoal is currently published in sixteen countries all around the world.
